- The Park Connection Motorcoach runs two Whittier cruise transfers on designated ship days. The coach from Seward to Whittier departs Seward at 1:10 PM and arrives at 3:45 PM. The coach from Anchorage to Whittier departs at 3:00 PM and arrives at 5:00 PM.
- The Glacier Discovery train run by the Alaska Railroad is another option. It departs Anchorage at 9:45 AM and arrives at 12:05 PM.

Should there be any unforeseen flight or luggage delays, we recommend flying into Anchorage at least one or two days before your southbound Whittier cruise departure.

To transfer from Whittier after your cruise, you can either depart in the morning or evening.

For those continuing farther north, the Park Connection is the only transportation option to offer a same-day connection from Whittier to Denali Park.
- Book a guided Whittier to Anchorage Tour & Transfer departing at 8:45 AM. The tour lasts about six hours.
- The train from Whittier to Anchorage leaves at 6:45 PM. It arrives into Anchorage at 9:15 PM.
