Overview
Even by Alaska standards the scenery around Valdez is especially stunning. This 60-minute helicopter tour takes off from the Valdez Airport where, from the very first minute airborne, unforgettable landscapes come into view.
A setting you'll simply have to see to believe.
Your knowledgeable pilot will navigate mountainsides, waterfalls, and steep gorges that turn into snowfields and tumbling glaciers. Depending on the local conditions you'll land on one of those glaciers or a remote beach in Prince William Sound. Both locations give you glimpses of real Alaskan wilderness in settings you'll simply have to see to believe. The tour concludes with a return to Valdez.

The Glacier Explorer Tour includes about 30 minutes of flightseeing and 30 minutes exploring the area at either a glacier or beach landing site.
What to Bring
Proper gear is critical for comfort and safety in remote Alaskan environments. Dress in layers, bring sunglasses, and wear flat, closed-toe footwear. Glacier grip slippers to wear over your shoes will be provided on glacier landing tours.
Special Instructions
To calculate accurate weight and balance for the aircraft, each passenger must provide their weight when making a reservation. Please note, due to aircraft weight limitations, the maximum allowed weight per passenger is 290 pounds.
Transfers & Meeting Points
The tour departs from the Valdez Airport. Complimentary transportation from downtown Valdez is available when requested in advance.
