Itinerary

Fly into Fairbanks and transfer to your hotel. Overnight Fairbanks.
Enjoy a leisurely morning before heading out on your own to explore Alaska's "Golden Heart City." Some must-dos are the Museum of the North and, if you're there from mid-February to mid-March, the World Ice Carving Championships. Tonight you're off to Chena Hot Springs to soak in the hot springs and search for the northern lights. Overnight Fairbanks.
Bundle up! This afternoon you're heading well into the Arctic Circle by plane. Your destination is the aptly named outpost of Coldfoot. From here you'll take a guided bus tour back to Fairbanks. If the sky is clear your chances are good to see the northern nights on the way.
Your trip concludes with an early morning return to Fairbanks.
