Six days and five nights is all it takes to see some of the state's top sites with this popular Alaska travel package. After a travel day and overnight in Anchorage, the trip heads directly to Denali National Park for two nights. From there it works south through Talkeetna and then to Seward and Kenai Fjords National Park. All accommodations, activities, and transportation, which features both the train and Park Connection Motorcoach, are included. The package begins in Anchorage and ends in Seward, making it easy to pair with an Alaskan cruise to Vancouver.

Fly into Ted Stevens International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight Anchorage.

This morning you'll board a deluxe dome train bound for Denali National Park. On a clear day, you can glimpse Denali within 30 minutes of leaving the Anchorage Depot. There are more viewpoints as you continue north through Talkeetna. You'll arrive into the Denali Park area in the afternoon.

This evening head to a nearby kennel home to Iditarod sled dogs and their musher. Between puppy cuddles and dog demos you'll learn all about mushing culture in Alaska. Overnight Denali.

Today you'll journey deep into the heart of Denali National Park. You'll stop frequently for wildlife sightings and rest breaks, too. Overnight Denali.

You'll depart Denali this morning aboard the Park Connection, a premium motorcoach service with comfortable seats and large picture windows. Once you arrive in Talkeetna, you'll have a few hours to explore the small town and grab lunch before your afternoon flightseeing tour. Overnight Talkeetna.

After the flurry of activities over the past few days, enjoy an easy travel day on the Park Connection down to Seward. Overnight Seward.

Your final day begins early with a six-hour scenic boat tour out of Seward and into Kenai Fjords National Park. Dress warmly, you'll want to spend as much time on deck as possible. There are windswept cliffsides to see, tidewater glaciers to marvel at, and hopefully whales to watch as well. An onboard deli lunch is served partway through the tour.

Once you return to land this afternoon, take the free Seward City Shuttle or walk about a mile along the water from the Small Boat Harbor for a visit to the Alaska SeaLife Center. The free shuttle will also take you to the Seward Cruise Ship Terminal. Your package concludes in Seward.
