Day cruises into Kenai Fjords National Park are only available between May and September and operate in all kinds of weather from the Seward harbor. Be sure to dress in appropriate clothing: Rubber-soled shoes, a good rain jacket, hat, and gloves will keep you more comfortable and the trip that much more enjoyable.
On any cruise, also be sure to bring a camera and binoculars. If seasickness is of concern, take motion sickness medication at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
