Overview
Your small-group cruise transfer from Seward to Anchorage kicks off with a convenient pickup at the cruise terminal. Next it's off on the Seward Highway past aqua-blue Kenai Lake, through the avalanche-carved mountains of Turnagain Pass, and on to Portage.

At Portage you'll enjoy a stop at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. This rehabilitation and education center is home to some of Alaska's most iconic species, including moose, caribou, musk ox, wolves, and bears.
From here you'll continue another 30 minutes or so to Girdwood for lunch and a ride up the Mt. Alyeska tram. On the rest of the drive to Anchorage you'll be treated to views of picturesque Turnagain Arm. The tour-transfer concludes with drop-offs at the Anchorage airport or your area hotel.

The Seward to Anchorage Tour & Transfer lasts about eight hours with a visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, lunch in Girdwood, a ride up the Mt. Alyeska tram, and multiple stops for photos along the way. This small-group experience is fully narrated by a driver-guide. Transportation is by comfortable Sprinter van.
Please note, from April 28 through May 18 this tour operates under a modified format due to seasonal closures at the Alyeska Tram.
What to Bring
Some of the tour is conducted outside, so wear layers and sturdy walking shoes. Be sure to keep your rain jacket and a hat on hand.
Special Instructions
This excursion requires a moderate level of activity, with walks at the conservation center and to/from the Alyeska tram.
