This northbound Park to Park bus line gets passengers from the coastal town of Seward to the Denali Park area in a single scenic day. The comfortable ride aboard a modern Park Connection motorcoach takes about 10 hours and includes a lunch stop in Anchorage.

The drive starts in Seward at 10:30 AM. The highway north is a National Scenic Byway, offering passengers spectacular scenery from the Kenai Mountains to the Turnagain Arm. All passengers get off the bus in downtown Anchorage and have time to grab lunch from one of several nearby restaurants. The bus boards again at 2:45 PM for a 3 PM departure. The route continues through Anchorage and into the Mat-Su Valley, past Wasilla and Willow, and then into Talkeetna via a spur road off the main highway.
On most days, the bus takes a 15-minute break at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. When the weather is clear, there is a flawless view of Denali from the lodge, so passengers can take the stop to enjoy the sight and stretch their legs before continuing up the highway. The route passes through Denali State Park and the small town of Cantwell before arriving into the Denali Park area around 8:30 PM.
The Park Connection bus line operates one trip daily from the Seward to the Denali Park area. The route departs from the Small Boat Harbor, Seward Windsong Lodge, and Trail Lake Lodge. The motorcoach drops off at the Denali Cabins, Denali Park Village Lodge, Denali Princess Lodge, McKinley Chalet, Denali Bluffs Hotel, and Grande Denali Lodge.

The Park Connection runs a fleet of modern 52-seat Prevost motorcoaches. Passengers onboard enjoy comfortable reclining seats equipped with seatbelts, footrests, armrests, and outlets. Seating is first-come, first-served. There is one lavatory located in the rear of the bus. Large luggage is stowed by Park Connection staff in lower bays. Guests can store their smaller items in overhead bins.
Park Connection drivers provide casual commentary on the surrounding area, keeping it light to give passengers time to relax and enjoy the picturesque wonder of Alaska's landscape. Photo stops may be made at the driver's discretion as weather and time permits.
What to Bring
The motorcoaches have large picture windows at every seat, so bring a camera onboard to capture the scenery along the way.
Special Instructions
The Park Connection allows two bags and one small carry on item per person. Additional fees may apply for excessively large oversized bags or items like bicycles, fish boxes, fishing equipment, or climbing equipment. There is no charge for items like strollers, car seats, wheelchairs, scooters, or oxygen concentrators.
Park Connection motorcoaches are wheelchair accessible. Please notify the Park Connection at least 48 hours in advance if wheelchair accessibility is required. Each motorcoach can accommodate up to two wheelchair passengers at one time.
