Alaska Glacier Lodge Transfer from Anchorage (Summer)

Overview

The Alaska Glacier Lodge is a beautiful wilderness getaway with the added benefit of easy access. It is also the base for helicopter tours to the stunning Knik Glacier and its many neighboring ice flows. So whether the reason to visit is a few nights at the lodge, or a few hours on a helicopter tour, this transfer service is a convenient way to get there.

Four daily trips from Anchorage.

The transfer takes the Glenn Highway out of Anchorage. Just before the Knik River crossing the route cuts north onto the Old Glenn. This smaller road weaves through dense alders and birch, snaking between the river and the base of Pioneer Peak. It's not uncommon to see wildlife, especially moose, on the drive. A return transfer to Anchorage takes the same route out.

The lodge transfer offers multiple daily trips out from and back to Anchorage. The shuttle stops at the Lakefront Hotel, Aloft, Springhill Midtown, Wingate by Wyndham Anchorage, downtown 4th Avenue & F Street trolley stop, and the Hotel Captain Cook.

Departure/Arrival Points

The shuttle stops at the Lakefront Hotel, Aloft, Springhill Midtown, Wingate by Wyndham Anchorage, downtown 4th Avenue & F Street trolley stop, and the Hotel Captain Cook. A stop can be made at the Anchorage Depot with advance request.
