Alaska 10 Day Itinerary
While our popular five-day and seven-day travel packages make for a memorable Alaska trip, when it comes to traveling Alaska ... we say the more days the better.
Spending 10 or more days in Alaska gives you that much more time to travel off the beaten path. You can visit Homer and Kachemak Bay on our Alaska Kayak Exploration trip, or Valdez and Girdwood on Alaska's Backroads & Scenic Highways. Both trip packages include a rental car, which is the best way to reach those sites that are farther afield. On a 10-day Alaska trip, you could also fit in a side trip above the Arctic Circle, an adventure that most Alaska visitors don't get the chance to take.
These 10-day trips also give you time to delve deeper into popular Alaska destinations like Denali National Park.
For example, the Premium National Parks Adventure includes a two-night stay at a remote wilderness lodge within the park boundaries. A little more time also gives you a chance to take longer day tours like full-day cruises into Kenai Fjords National Park, or active adventures like guided glacier treks.
As with most of our featured packages, these trips include all accommodations, activities, and transportation. In certain packages, that transportation is by the railroad and Park Connection Motorcoach, while others include a premium 4x4 rental car.
All Alaska Tour & Travel trip packages are customizable, meaning that you have total flexibility to build your perfect Alaska vacation. You can pick out different activities, add or change destinations, and even upgrade your accommodations and transportation.
