Overview

As Fairbanks' only riverside guest cottage property, the aptly named River's Edge Resort is situated a stone's throw from the city's winding Chena River. It's a friendly resort with a knack for warm hospitality in a tranquil setting guests thoroughly enjoy.

The River's Edge Resort offers 86 private guest cottages. Riverfront cottages face the Chena River. They have small patios with outdoor seating. Standard cottages face the property's prettily landscaped areas. All cottages have two queen beds and full private baths. A paved walkway runs along the river in front of the resort. It is a lovely place to stroll in the morning before leaving on the day's excursions.

The River's Edge Resort serves a continental and full hot breakfast buffet in the Miner's Hall Breakfast Room just off the main lobby area. Chena's Restaurant, the resort's onsite eatery, serves classic Alaskan fare for lunch and dinner. With the restaurant's large outdoor dining area also facing the river, even locals flock to Chena's for al fresco dining on warm summer days.

The River's Edge Resort is located just north of the Fairbanks International Airport and 10 minutes from the Fairbanks train depot. There is plentiful free parking for guests.
