Denali Park Hotels
The Denali Park area offers a wide selection of hotels, lodges, and cabins just outside the park entrance as well as several wilderness lodges deep inside Denali National Park.
The Denali Bluffs offers the best value for a mid-sized Denali area property. For an upscale property, try the Grande Denali Lodge or the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. If you are interested in staying in your own cabin, we have a number of choices to choose from as well.
Denali area hotels are only open during the summer months, which range from late May to early September. Rooms fill up quickly, so we encourage you to make your reservations well in advance. Plan for at least a minimum of two consecutive nights to give yourself one full day to explore Denali National Park.
With the exception of Kantishna Roadhouse and a handful of other backcountry lodges, there are no hotels located within Denali National Park. The Denali area hotels we book are located within a few miles of the park entrance. Most hotels provide complimentary transportation to and from the park entrance and the Denali train depot. The Park Connection Motorcoach and many local tour operators pick up directly from area hotels.
The small seasonal community around which several of the major hotels are located includes gift shops, tour offices, a grocery store, gas station, and a handful of restaurants and cafes. Most Denali Park hotels also offer onsite dining.
