As the largest hotel in the Denali park area, the Denali Princess Lodge offers comfortable accommodations in an expansive riverside property full of amenities. The lodge is located just one mile from the entrance of Denali National Park, and is within easy walking distance to the area's bustling hub of shops and services.

Guests find comfortable, well-appointed rooms at the Denali Princess Lodge. Nicely landscaped paths link the separate guest room buildings to the resort's multiple restaurants and timber-framed main lodge. To a shopper's delight, the lodge is also home to gift shops displaying fine jewelry, artist prints, photography, authentic Alaskan souvenirs, clothing, and sundries.

For breakfast, the lodge offers a Sourdough Breakfast Buffet, an a la cart menu at the King Salmon Restaurant, or grab-and-go pastries and coffee from two espresso shops. Three onsite restaurants serve lunch. Those same eateries also offer three unique options for dinner. The Grizzly Bar & Grill serves casually delicious burgers and salads, while the Lynx Creek Pizza & Pub tosses specialty pies and pours locally craft brews. For a fine dining experience, guests will enjoy expertly prepared Alaskan seafood specialties at the King Salmon Restaurant.

The Denali Princess Lodge is the largest hotel in the Denali park area. The resort-style property has more than 600 guest rooms in separate guest buildings set away from the main lodge, multiple restaurants and gift shops, and plentiful indoor and outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the beautiful Nenana River canyon setting. Although some rooms provide river views, no Denali entrance hotel has views of Mt. Denali.

Amenities

Rooms come with one king or two double beds, a full private bath, hair dryer, coffeemaker, telephone, and cable TV. Onsite amenities include a beauty salon, guest laundry, guest computers, gift shops, free WiFi in the main lobby, a lounge, coffee bars, and full-service restaurants. Rooms booked with one or two guests are assigned by default to rooms with one king bed. Please let a reservation agent know if a room with two beds is preferred.

Transfers and Shuttles

The Denali Princess Lodge provides complimentary shuttle service to the Denali Visitor Center. Many local tour operators pick up at the property. Guests arriving by train will be met by hotel staff at the depot. Guests arriving by Park Connection motorcoach will be dropped off at the hotel. Plentiful free parking is available for guests driving their own vehicles.

There is no additional charge for children under the age of 12 sharing a room with an adult. Rates apply to the number of adults in the room. For example, "triple" refers to three guests age 12 or older.
