Owned and operated by an Alaskan family since the mid-1960s, the Denali Grizzly Bear Resort sits on 17 forested acres alongside the Nenana River and Denali National Park border. Along with a serene setting and cozy accommodations, the resort is best known for its authentic Alaskan feel.

The Denali Grizzly Bear Resort offers two types of accommodations, either comfortable rooms in the cedar hotel or private cabins. The cedar hotel guest rooms come with two double beds. All rooms in the hotel have a private deck with views of the Nenana River or nearby mountains. The resort's private cabins come with one queen bed or two double beds. Each cabin is tucked into the woods. Despite their remote feel, all cabins are accessible by car.

Along with a cedar hotel and cabins, the Grizzly Bear Resort also includes a campground and busy general store. The general store sells limited groceries, snack packs, alcohol, and ice. It also houses a guest laundry. The resort hosts rotating local food trucks serving eclectic dishes throughout the day. There are also several traditional sit-down restaurants within a close drive of the property.

The 17-acre Denali Grizzly Bear Resort consists of a general store, a cedar hotel, and private cabins. The Resort is located six miles from the Denali National Park Visitor Center. Although some accommodations have river views, no hotel in the Denali Park area has views of Mt. Denali.

The Denali Grizzly Bear Resort cedar hotel guest rooms have two double beds. Private cabins have one queen bed or two double beds. All accommodations have a full private bath, cable TV, hair dryer, coffeemaker, pay-to-use WiFi, and private balconies or decks. Neither guest rooms nor cabins have telephones. Onsite amenities include a local food truck court, general store selling snacks and beverages, gift shop, guest laundry, and tour desk.

Because there are very limited transportation options at the Denali Grizzly Bear Resort, we recommend that guests have their own car if they choose to stay at this property. Plentiful free parking is available for guests driving their own vehicles.

There is no additional charge for children under the age of 13 sharing a room with an adult. Rates apply to the number of adults in the room. For example, "triple" refers to three guests age 13 or older.
