Day 1
Seattle

Seattle is a city of many identities, yet it was its role as a jumping off point for Alaska-bound gold prospectors that put it on the map. The trip begins with pretty views of the city at dusk.

Day 2
Cruising Pacific Ocean

Decompress during a relaxed day at sea as the voyage flows north through the Gulf of Alaska before dipping into the protected water of Alaska's iconic Inside Passage.

Day 3
Juneau

After a tranquil morning cruising through Stephens Passage and Gastineau Channel, the cruise docks for the afternoon in Juneau. Spend it visiting the nearby Mendenhall Glacier, exploring the surrounding temperate rainforest by foot, or discovering Juneau's rich mining history on an unforgettable underground gold panning tour.

Day 4
Glacier Bay/Icy Straight

Overnight, the route winds through a hundred miles of the Inside Passage to arrive at Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve in the early morning light. Only two cruise ships enter the park a day. The views are exceptional, with seven tidewater glaciers streaming into the bay from surrounding 12,000-foot peaks. Spend the bright evening hours exploring nearby Icy Straight.

Day 5
Sitka

Visited less frequently by cruise ships, this shore day in Sitka feels like a special secret treat. The community strikes a unique balance between its colonial Russian heritage and native Tlingit and Haida cultures. See the town's two sides together at the walkable Sitka National Historical Park.

Day 6
Ketchikan

The route continues south and returns once again to calm passage waters for a final port call in Ketchikan. The colorful town is home to the world's largest collection of totem poles. View these hand carved creations on a tour to Totem Bight State Park, or take a fishing trip in search of the town's other claim to fame: Salmon.

Day 7
Victoria BC

Passengers enjoy their final port call in Victoria, British Columbia's provincial capital. The small city is perched on the tip of scenic Vancouver Island. Its rugged coastal setting only makes the uncommonly British feel more interesting, especially while enjoying high tea at the Pendray Mansion, or touring one of the city's many elegant gardens.

Day 8
Seattle

The seven-day Alaska cruise ends where it began, in the beautiful "Emerald City" on the shore of Puget Sound.
