Guest Feedback
"Lovely rooms and setting! The large lobby allowed guests to sit, enjoy the scenery, or play games. The flag lowering ceremony every night was very meaningful."

Built near the confluence of two major rivers, one of them the raucous waterway through which the famed Copper River salmon run, this intimate lodge is an ideal stopping point for travelers on the Richardson Highway. The massive Wrangell-St. Elias National Park is just a few miles east, Valdez a two-hour drive south, and Fairbanks 250 miles north.
A comfortable, well-appointed oasis.
Despite its remoteness, the Copper River Princess Lodge is a comfortable, well-appointed oasis. Its 85 guest rooms are furnished with two queen beds and common amenities. The main lobby is both large and cozy, with easy chairs, sofas, and full bookshelves grouped into reading areas. A two-story wall of windows looks out onto Mt. Drum and the Wrangell-St. Elias mountain range. Encompassing 200 acres, the surrounding hotel property has marked hiking trails and outdoor game areas.
The hotel serves breakfast and dinner in the Two Rivers Restaurant, which features a two-level seating area with beautiful mountain views. Guests can also enjoy lunch, dinner, signature cocktails, and craft beers in the Whistle Stop Bar & Grill. On clear days, guests often opt for outdoor dining on the Whistle Stop's large patio.
