Discover Denali Park Flightseeing

Overview

Explore the massive glaciers, endless mountain valleys, and grand peaks of Denali National Park by floatplane on this three-hour flightseeing tour out of Anchorage. Once you're settled into your float plane window seat and equipped with a headset so that you can hear the pilot's commentary, you'll take off from Lake Hood and turn north toward Denali.

Fly over glaciers, cascading ice falls, and jagged peaks.

Your flight path takes you over the Cook Inlet and above wide flatlands on the way to the Alaska Range dominating the horizon. Keep an eye out here for moose, the marshy, scrubby area below is their prime habitat. Climbing into the foothills, soon you'll fly over glaciers, then past cascading ice falls and jagged peaks that ring Denali, the tallest mountain in North America.

Weather and season permitting, you'll make a photo stop landing at a mountain lake or in the town of Talkeetna before returning to Anchorage.
